The Reset Playbook is operated by The Reset Program, a nonprofit initiative based in San Diego, California, dedicated to proactive teen mental health and life skills education.

Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, accessing, or using The Reset Playbook, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

Not a Substitute for Professional Help

If you or someone you know is in crisis or thinking about self-harm, please contact a trusted adult, call or text 988 (the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline in the US), or call your local emergency number immediately.

Who Can Use This App

• The Reset Playbook is designed for teenagers, often in school settings with adult supervision.
• No account, login, or personal information is required to use the app.
• If you are a parent, guardian, or educator supervising a minor's use of this app, you are responsible for determining whether it is appropriate for that individual.

Acceptable Use

When using the app, you agree not to:

• Attempt to disrupt, overload, or abuse the app's AI-powered features or backend services
• Attempt to circumvent any usage limits, security measures, or access controls
• Use the app for any unlawful purpose or in a way that could harm others
• Reverse-engineer, copy, or redistribute the app's content or code without permission

AI-Generated Content

Some content in the app — including topic summaries and quizzes — is generated using third-party AI services. While we aim for helpful, accurate, and age-appropriate content, AI-generated material may occasionally be incomplete, imperfect, or not fully accurate. Use your own judgment, and talk to a trusted adult about anything that concerns you.

To keep the app available and fair for everyone, AI-powered features are subject to daily usage limits.

Intellectual Property

The Reset Playbook name, branding, and original content are owned by The Reset Program. You may use the app for personal, non-commercial, educational purposes. You may not copy, sell, or redistribute app content without our written permission.

No Warranty

The app is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at all times.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Reset Program is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.

Termination

We reserve the right to restrict or discontinue access to the app, in whole or in part, at any time, particularly in cases of abuse of the app's services.
